This item works perfectly with my D90, it attaches firmly to the body without any gaps
It comes with a holder for 6 AA batteries, tried it and it works and the D90 recognises the batteries, it also works fine with my original Nikon battery.
The finish also matches the D90..I have not tried the remote yet.
