This battery grip/holder is compatible with Canon 450D / 500D / 1000D cameras. The functions are the same as the original Canon BG-E5. The grip has a built-in vertical shutter release button, and can hold two LP-E5 lithium-ion battery packs or six AA batteries with the included battery holder.
